Lübeck, Germany (June 28, 2012) – Tate & Lyle Food Systems, a leading provider of customised food stabiliser systems, announces the expansion and consolidation of its European centre of excellence with the opening of a new facility alongside its current production site in Roggenhorst, near Lübeck, Germany.
The opening of the new facility will result in the transfer of technical consultancy, marketing support, formulation and pilot plant services, from their current location in the centre of Lübeck to Roggenhorst, allowing Tate & Lyle Food Systems to deliver customers its trademark full-service offering for dairy, convenience foods and bakery applications from one fully integrated location.
The bringing together of all functions at one expanded site will enable Tate & Lyle Food Systems to shorten project development cycles, improve efficiency and help customers get to market faster.

A boost for bakery manufacturers
The new facility which has a state-of-the-art bakery pilot plant with new analytical and baking equipment will enable the recently expanded team of bakery specialists to leverage the latest technology to grow the Tate & Lyle Food Systems’ bakery business.
